What are our methods, right? We get this question all of the time, and we want you to fully know and understand exactly what it is we do, because you're probably going online and reading a ton of information that's like: should I demand feed? Should I schedule feed? Eat, play, sleep—what should I do? All this kind of stuff. Okay, so let's boil this down into really, really simple, simple terms. Sleeping is, baby having the skill of going from fully wide awake to fully asleep without the help of anyone or anything. Right, that's the actual definition of sleep. If we want to achieve something, we have to know what that actual definition is, and that's what we want to do.
We're going to break this down into several different components. Baby's typically need two things to “sleep through the night.” Number one is that they need enough calories in their stomach to sustain them through the night. If we want them to not have a feeding in the middle of the night and be well-fed and taken care of, and all their needs met, then they have to have enough calories in them to sustain them through the night.
The second thing that they would need then, logically, is a stomach big enough to hold enough calories to sustain them through the night. Now, typically the combination of baby being able to get enough calories throughout the whole entire day time, and having a stomach big enough to hold all those calories, typically happens around the eight week mark. We teach eight hours through the night by eight weeks old. Now, there's again two more things that are vitally important as far as “methods.”
You have to essentially stabilize metabolism, and then we have to teach baby the actual skill of going from fully wide awake to fully asleep without the help of anyone or anything, and connecting the REM cycles. So the first absolute most important thing that we do is we bring you in and get you on a schedule. We have to have the appropriate amount of feedings. Baby has to be awake enough and hungry enough to take full feedings on the proper schedule. They need to have a proper amount of wake time and a proper amount of sleep time throughout the whole entire day, before we even start to do things at night.
Good nights, they start with good days. You want to have a good night, it starts with a good day stabilizing baby's metabolism. So many parents don't get baby's metabolism stabilized. Then, they go to night, and then they let their baby cry and it's disastrous, because their baby actually needs to eat during the nighttime because they haven't set things up with a proper daytime. As we do that, we eliminate all the different variables. We know baby's fed and everything's good, that he's not actually hungry because we've done our job during the daytime. That allows us to then step two, after we've stabilized baby's metabolism, step two is teaching baby the actual skill of going from fully wide awake to fully asleep without the help of anyone or anything.
That involves connecting REM cycles. Again, think of the dolphin, the dolphin goes deep down under water, which kind of mimics the deep sleep in a baby's sleep cycle. Then, they come up out of the water, which mimics light sleep, or baby wakes up. That's the period where baby wakes up, so if your baby wakes up x-amount of times in the middle of the night, or every two hours or whatever it is, they're coming out of a sleep cycle. We actually have to teach them the skill of bridging that REM cycle, because that then becomes their ability to put themselves back to sleep.
In order to do that, after we know baby's had a solid day of great feedings, everything's fine, then we have to teach them the skill of doing that. Yes, that involves crying, it absolutely does. You have to give your baby enough time to learn that skill of getting themselves back down into the next REM cycle without the help of anyone or anything. When we come in and we do that, when baby wakes up or we feed them immediately, we're training in the negative. We're continuing to perpetuate what we don't want to have happen, and then that feeding gets associated with them having to go back to sleep.
As we teach them the skill of doing that without the help of anyone or anything, that's actually sleep and the core definition of baby sleeping through the night. So, what are our methods? We first stabilize a baby's metabolism throughout the whole entire day, because good nights start with good days. Then, we have to teach baby the skill of going from fully wide awake to fully asleep without the help of anyone or anything, and yes it absolutely involves crying because we have to give our baby room to learn that skill.
Now, there are really good ways and really bad ways to do crying. I alluded to it a little bit ago, but if you don't stabilize baby's metabolism and you just let your baby cry at night, that's a really, really bad plan, and that's where “crying it out” gets a really bad rap. What we do, again, is stabilize baby's metabolism, and then we're going to give your baby an opportunity during the daytime first, because we don't fight the big nighttime battle first, we start sleep training during the daytime. If you go to daycare, or you're a working mom and baby goes to daycare, no problem— we've got that covered and we show you how to do it anyway.
Then, we move into the nighttime battle; so we don't have to fight the big nighttime battle first and that's the good way to do crying. We're going to give baby some time to work it out, and then if they don't get it after x-amount of minutes, then we're able to go in and comfort them or feed them or do what we normally have done. So, they're not going to get it the first time we give them some time, right? They're probably not going to get it the second time that we give them the time to learn it. But, after the fourth and fifth time that we give them, they're actually going to be able to put themselves to sleep in a timely fashion before you would have to go in and attend to them.
You need to be okay with crying, and here's the deal, your baby probably cries anyway. Okay, we call it building cry-equity, and what that means is that we just show you how to put that crying to work to where your baby is actually learning something. It's moving towards something. It's like buying a house versus renting an apartment. You're going to pay that same thousand dollars a month; if you pay that into a home you're building equity. If you're doing that just as rent, you're not building equity into that. So we're going to take that, we're going to show you the fastest, smartest, best way to do those things that are getting everyone the results that you're seeing in the testimonials (so go and watch those if you haven't), and we're going to get your baby sleeping through the night very, very quickly.
The cool part about that is, like I said, is that our internal clocks are meant to be changed very rapidly. So if you're doing this right, and you're doing it properly in the methods that we teach you, in the ways that we stick with and teach you (which we'll talk about in the other videos), it happens really fast. Most parents get their babies sleeping through the night in less than a week's time. A lot of parents do it in three to five days. Some even do it on the first or second night. But we're able to shift the internal clock and get them on a new schedule. We'll show you how to stick to that schedule, and get that baby sleeping through the night very, very quickly- in a fast way, in a smart way that's logical and makes sense. That meets all your baby's needs and gets everybody sleeping through the night; healthy, happy, and growing.
Why Are We Different?
So at this point you're probably thinking to yourself, “Listen, my baby can sleep. I get it. But why are you different? Tell me why you're different. I'm reading all this stuff online and whatever, why are you guys so different?” Glad you asked! Okay, here's the deal. What we do is a mentorship. We just don't simply sell information like other sleep consultants. We actually go with you on the journey. Information alone is not enough. Information is not transformation. So this isn't about just giving you information and saying, “Here you go, good luck, hope it works. Perfect.” And that's when we— and I'm sure you'll watch our video, but when we started MyBabyCanSleep, what we realized is that there were so many people just simply selling information. The same thing as a $15 book on Amazon or something like that. If information alone was enough, you would have already probably gotten your baby sleeping through the night.
This is a mentorship. We dive deep into your life through our three-tier model that's not found anywhere else online. And we go with you on the whole entire journey. We're like hiring the personal trainer. Most people think— listen to this— most people think that buying a treadmill is the thing that helps you lose weight. And that couldn't be further from the truth. The actual thing that helps you lose weight is ensuring that you get on the treadmill and walk on it or run on it, right? So, it's not the actual treadmill, although that's required, good information is required and we obviously think we have the best and we deliver that in methods that nobody else does. But it's actually getting on the treadmill. So we make sure that you do that. We're like two-thirds the grandmother you never had, but one-third Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser, making sure you actually do what we need you to do, in order to get a sleeping baby. So if you hired a personal trainer at the gym, your fitness goals and results are gonna go through the roof, as opposed to doing it on your own and maybe snoozing through an alarm and all that kind of stuff. That's why what we do is so different.
And the community and everything that we have involved, is all the things that it takes to get your baby sleeping through the night. So that's why it's pretty much impossible to fail. You pretty much have to not do what we say and be completely defiant of what's going on in order to not get your baby sleeping through the night. Also, we give you so much ongoing access to us that we're throughout the whole process and we're able to get deep in your life. Again, most sleep consultants charge $300 to $500 for a one-time, one-hour phone call where you call them on the phone and you talk about one child only, and it's like, “Oh, I'm from Iowa. Where are you from?” “Oh, I'm from Texas,” and all this kind of stuff. And before you know it, 15 minutes of your $500 has gone by and you have nothing yet to show for it. And then on the phone, they have to sit and explain basic concepts to you. And then when you're all done, you have a plan for the problem of the week, of that moment, right? And then they're just like, “Oh, good luck. Hope it works for you. Hope you can then actually go and do it.”
But as humans, old habits are really hard to break. If you continue to do what you've always done, you're gonna continue to kind of get what you've always gotten. And we have to have a surefire way to be supported and to break old habits. Because it really boils down to this, most people, a lot of people, know what to do. We have some moms that come to us that are first-time moms that just have absolutely no idea what to do and we love working with those moms. We have some moms that come to us that are on their third, fourth, fifth child, and can't get it done. Now, does that mom lack information? Not necessarily, some do, some don't. But what they lack is the emotional and mental support to actually carry out and do what they know needs to be done. It's all about the ongoing emotional and mental support. That's the secret sauce.
And with the design of our three-tier model, you get unlimited access to us. So we're there; we go on the journey with you. And more importantly, as we're gonna see in our sleep guarantee video (which I'm gonna encourage you to watch), again, it's impossible to fail. We stick with you until it happens. That's why our success rate is pretty much 100% of those that come in and do what they say. It's really, really hard to fail. And so, if you're thinking to yourself, “I've tried everything. I've tried every book, every method. You don't understand, Brad. My baby's just tough. It just is not gonna work,” we go with you on the journey. We're able to dive in, troubleshoot, be intimately involved in your life and get down to the details for you and your life. If you're a working mom, or a stay-at-home mom, or grandma watches the baby three days a week, or you're breastfeeding, or they're colicky, or reflux, or all those sorts of things, we're able to get that far into your life and know, “Okay, oh, you have this, let's do this, let's do this, try this, go here, do this,” and we continue to troubleshoot. It's not like, “Oh, here's some information. Good luck, hope it works for you.” No, we back up our information and we actually guarantee it to work.
So, watch the sleep guarantee video if you haven't. Watch all the videos if you haven't—they're all really good. We're going to get your baby sleeping through the night, even if you know nothing, or even if you think you've tried everything and you're on your fifth child, we'll make it happen for you.
Action Based Sleep Guarantee
So, because we actually go with you on the journey we guarantee to get your baby sleeping through the night or your money back. This isn't about just selling information and saying, “Good luck, hope it works for you.” No, we back up what we do. We say, hey, no, this works. We're gonna help you make sure that it works, and we guarantee to get your baby sleeping through the night through our action-based sleep guarantee that I want to tell you about, because nobody else does it like we do, and nobody else offers the guarantee of baby sleep for you. Listen closely, because we don't give refunds for any other reason after you purchase our program. So if you have other questions please email us, please chat, we answer chat all the time. We love spending time with any students that have any questions prior to joining our program, because we want to make sure that you're a good fit for us, and that we're a good fit for you. We don't just accept everybody into the program, but we want to make sure that we get your questions answered, that you're gonna be a good fit, and that you're ready to have success with us.
We're not the variable. We will, absolutely get your baby sleeping through the night and we guarantee it. So here's what it looks like: through our Action Based Sleep Guarantee we guarantee to get your baby sleeping through the night by eight weeks old or within 30 days of joining our program. Because, again, we teach eight hours through the night by eight weeks old. So if you have a three-week old or a four-week old, we're able to get you nice, solid stretches of sleep now, but we guarantee to get your baby sleeping eight hours through the night by eight weeks old, so you would have that guarantee by eight weeks old. If your baby's a year old or a year-and-a-half old, or whatever, we guarantee to get your baby sleeping through the night within 30 days or your money back.
Most of the time, 99% of the time, we get your baby sleeping through the night within a week. Most moms get it done within three or four days and there's plenty of moms—hundreds of moms in our program that get their baby sleeping through the night, literally, the first couple of nights. We guarantee to do that. All we ask—we're gonna be good teachers—all we ask you to do is to be a good student and follow our program. You have to watch the videos. You have to do things how we say and when to say, or when we say to do them. You have to ask questions in our Mastermind Group if you have them. You have to attend the mentoring sessions. You have to give us an opportunity to mentor you. You have to be “mentorable,” and ready to do what we say. If you do that, and if for some reason you don't get your baby sleeping through the night, again, by eight weeks old or within 30 days of joining the program, we gladly issue you a refund.
Now, the success rate of our program is pretty much 100% because, again, I would encourage you to watch the other FAQ videos, but we go with you on the journey. This is a mentorship. No one does it like we do, and no one gives the ongoing, unlimited access like we do. So again, it's really, really difficult to fail. We haven't had one person that actually came in, did what we said, followed the program like we said, and not get amazing, amazing results. Again, our Action Based Sleep Guarantee, we guarantee to get your baby sleeping through the night by eight weeks old or within 30 days of joining our program or we'll gladly give you your money back. Again, we don't give refunds for any other reason after you purchase our program, so if you have questions about our program please chat with us, email us, set up a time to call us, whatever you need to do to make sure that we're a good fit for you and that you're a good fit for us. Hope to see you getting your baby sleeping through the night.
What Happens When I Join?
Let's talk about what it actually looks like to get signed up, join, and get started in our program. It's the simplest process ever. So what you're going to do is, you're going to go to our checkout page—there's links probably all around this video—and you're able to actually just input your information. It's very quick and easy to sign up, and you're going to hit the enroll button. Right after that, on the thank you page, on the “thank you for purchasing” page, you're going to be prompted to do two things: number one, you're going to be prompted to create your username and password for our video members area. That's the area that's going to have all of our video trainings all broken out. And again, you can hear about what that entails in a different video, but you're going to get immediate access to that.
That means within just 30 seconds of joining, you're going to get handed all the tools that you need to get your baby sleeping through the night and radically start right away. The second thing that you're going to be prompted to do on that thank you page, is that you're going to be requesting access to our Facebook Mastermind group. You're going to be able to get into the group right away, minutes after you join. So you're going to do two things again on the thank you page, create your membership, a user ID and password and request access to the mastermind group. Once you're in our members area, then there are welcome videos, two main welcome videos that you would watch. Number one is kind of the logistics of the program, where to find things, how to contact us, all the logistical things.
Then there's another video that will show you “if your baby's this age, start here,” “if your baby's this, start here,” “if your baby's this, start here.” It's actually going to guide you through everything that you need to watch. Most moms that come in really only need to watch six or seven videos. We give you well over 100 videos to watch. Again, they're all a la carte, you can do everything right on your phone, they're all in layman's terms and each video is typically anywhere from 30 seconds to five minutes. You probably only need to watch a few of them, so what that means is you don't have to sit through the history of how babies are made, and then bringing your baby home from the hospital, and your first day home, and all that kind of stuff. If you have a year-and-a-half year old, you get to go right to the 18-month-old videos.
That's going to guide you through how to do all that. Typically, what most moms do then after that is, they'll introduce themselves into the Facebook group, but they'll say “Hey, my name is Sally. I have a 12-month-old. I'm looking to be on this routine. I've watched these videos, am I on the right track? Does everything look good?” And we're all, over a thousand students, we're all gonna welcome you. You're going to get to meet the moms that have babies your age, all that kind of cool stuff. You're going to love getting to know everybody and we're going to say, “Yep, it looks great. Go ahead and do that.”
Again, depending on what time of day you're joining, but you can get started doing things right, right away. So it's really exciting! We get you right off to the races right away. There's no big long waiting period. There's no modules, and modules that you have to go through or anything. You are going to get help right now getting your baby sleeping through the night. So that's what it looks like and you need to go. If you haven't, click on the join now button and get that baby sleeping through the night. The help is literally one minute away, right now.
